Getting To Paris Auto Show
Paris Auto Show is a well-known event and the venue can be reached by a slew of mediums. Air France operates shuttle services for the venue. One can also reach by train, metro, bus, tramway and car.
By Plane
Air France is the official carrier for Paris Auto Show. Air France will provide special offer valid for travel from September 27, to October 24, 2008. Visitors can avail discounts on a wide range of airfares, like First, Business and Coach. 10% rebate is offered on published non-restrictive public fares. 5% rebate is granted on restrictive-discounted fares.
For getting discounts you have to produce your invitation entrance ticket or your accreditation for the show at the Air France sales point. You should keep the document when on journey too.
Shuttle services will be available every day from Orly (West South terminals) airport to the Mondial de l'Automobile, the venue, from 2 October 2008. Journalists would be able to avail the services on October 2 and 3.
By Train
25% discount is offered on a return ticket for first and second class trains on the French mainline network, excluding Ile-de-France, on high-speed (TGV), CORAIL-TEOZ and CORAIL-LUNEA trains (depends on availability) and on CORAIL, CORAIL INTERCITES and TER trains during off-peak periods.
For availing the discounts, you have to produce your invitation entrance ticket or badge for the show together with your return ticket during the return journey. At the Train Hotel range, you can avail a discount of up to 10% during the week (Monday to Thursday).
By Metro and RER
Visitors can reach the venue using Metro and RER (Regional Express Network). In metro they should board Line 12 : Porte de Versailles or Line 8 : Balard. When opting for RER, they should take Line C, and get down at the station Boulevard Victor.
